Description: John Morgan, who is thought to have been one of the co-founders of the Medical Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania, is depicted in a sizable oil painting from the 18th century. Three-quarter length portrait of Morgan in his later years holding his cane while wearing a yellow waistcoat and a blue overcoat. Excellently detailed portrait with an ancient label on the verso and a fine gold frame. Size: approximately 56" x 46" framed
