Description: Huge oil on canvas portrait of John Morgan from the 18th century, thought to be one of the co-founders of the University of Pennsylvania's Medical Faculty. A three-quarter length portrait of Morgan in his later years, clutching his cane while dressed in a blue overcoat and yellow waistcoat. Excellent detail portrait housed in a nice gold frame with an antique label on the verso. Origin: UK estate of a deceased Size: about 56" by 46" when framed.
