Description: Fine Large 19th Century portrait identified as Lady Georgina Fane, oil on canvas. Exceptional quality and condition portrait of Lady Fane who famously pursued the Duke Of Wellington since she was 14 years old. She had a long term relationship with Lord Palmerston who we have identified as the companion portrait sitter, however Lady Fane refused several of his proposals and she died without every marrying at the age of 73. She was the daughter of the 10th Earl of Westmorland and the first child of his second marriage. Measurements: 38" x 33" framed approx
