Description: Large oil on canvas picture of Lady Mary Villiers, afterwards Duchess of Richmond and Lennox, as Saint Agnes from the 17th century. Excellent quality and condition three-quarter length seated portrait of the Duchess as Saint Agnes wearing a white satin dress with a blue shawl and holding a palm leaf while being attended by the lamb in a grotto. Outstanding work that was representative of Van Dyck and his studio at the time. presented in an exquisite old gilded frame. Dimensions: about 60" x 48" framed
