Description: Large oil on canvas portrait, dated to around 1710, of Lady Selby of Melton. Sir Godfrey Kneller is the artist. An oval bust scale portrait of a young woman in a pink and blue dress with her hair up is in excellent quality and shape. With an inscription on the verso, an important early portrait of the Selby family. It is displayed in its original, old gilded frame. Dimensions: approximately 36" x 31" framed
