Description: Oil on canvas, large 18th-century Scottish portrait of Mrs. Isabella Blair. Mrs. Blair is seen in a half-length painting wearing a fancy headpiece and modest clothing. Excellent condition and quality comparable to Raeburn's later works. This is most likely the same sitter as the "Mrs Isabelle Blair (nee Halkett)" portrait by Raeburn, which was commissioned roughly a decade after her marriage to Rt Hon. Robert Blair. displayed in a classy gilded frame. Dimensions: approximately 34" x 29" framed
