Description: Huge oil on canvas picture by Thomas Romney Robinson from around 1820 depicting a young Mrs. E Robert Smyth in a white robe and red hat. Superb portrait with ancestry connected to County Down area. Retained on the rear of the frame is the original plaque. could use some restoration and a thorough professional cleaning to be even better. Exhibited within its original, re-gilded antique gilt frame. Size: approximately 35" by 30" when framed.
