Superb turn of the century portrait of the young Countess in reflective pose. De Carrie was born in Chile later training France and exhibiting at the Paris Salon hence the Impressionist influence in her portraiture. She would later live and work in the US after 1910. Excellent original condition presented in an antique gilt frame. Signed.
