Descritpion: Victorian British Sporting Race Horse Harvester With Jockey Rider and 1884 Derby Winner Sir J Willoughby's, one fine oil painting. "Sir J Willoughby's Harvester" was a joint winner of the 1884 Derby. Plaque is affixed to the front bottom. Beautiful painting of a British sporting horse racing scenario in side profile, facing right, with jockey rider wearing traditional smart white jockey race suit and clutching whip cane. The horse is known as Harvester and is displayed in side profile. Having such a lovely viewpoint with the downhill-sloping white wooden fence lane and short-cut green grass in the background. Open pastures in the countryside with rows of trees and plants are further back. A somewhat cloudy sky is visible overhead.
