Description: Oil on canvas, fine huge Italian Old Master landscape image with figures in a river setting. A stunning panoramic view of the river scenery with fluid figures moving through the undulations of the steep river environment is shown. The scene is set against a cloudy white and blue sky. It is in excellent shape considering its age and clearly resembles Magnasco's distinctive painting style, which would influence Guardi and foreshadow impressionism nearly 200 years later with its fluid manner that gives the picture movement.
