Description: 1 Antique 19th-Century Fine British Oil Painting Following James Pollard was a horse-drawn Royal Mail carriage coach. Interest in royal mail collecting! An historic Royal Mail coach being drawn by horses along a country road is the subject of a very attractive image in the foreground. He has a boy sitting to his left. Views of the countryside with rolling hills and a sizable stately home on the hill to the far right can be seen in the backdrop, along with birds flying overhead and distant deer. The carriage has the name and crest of the Royal Mail. The brilliant, lovely colors are a terrific discussion starter because to their outstanding perspective. Unsigned.
