Scene of two lovers courting in excellent quality and condition, one wearing a white dress and a pink silk sash, the other a lavishly attired young man with a hat decorated with bows and holding a cane. Outstanding historical painting from the 1870s, signed at bottom right, and displayed in its exceptional original antique gilt frame. Dimensions: approximately 65 x 55 cm when framed
