Description: 1 Lovely Decorative Original Vintage German Carved Sculpture Wood Plaque Of Schloss Stettenfels Castle. The elaborate detail of the castle in raised low relief is one distinguishing feature. Very ornamental and well-made. Heilbronn's Stettenfels Castle is a medieval fortress perched above the community of Untergruppenbach. Hans Fugger originally owned it, and it is now used for cultural activities.Probably about the same period as many other castles in the region, the castle was constructed in the 11th century.
