Description: 1 Fine Decorative Small RARE Vintage George Fox Inspired Owl Mustard Pot Hallmarked Silver Plate. Such a collectible. This is a lovely, uncommon tiny Victorian-era owl-shaped mustard jar made of silver plate. in a design modeled after George Fox. with a hinged cover, red glass button eyes, and repousse feathers that are realistically pursued. The adorable claw feet and ever-so-cute ruby glass eyes are two features we really like. The mouse spoon and the original blue glass lining are absent. made with a ceramic interior and a base metal outside. 1940 or so, roughly speaking.
