Description: Fine large oil on canvas spring scene of an orchard by Adolphe Clary-Baroux from the 19th century. expansive view of the spring orchard painted in Arles, France, in 1888, when spring had finally arrived. At the time, Clary-Baroux was a budding artist who would eventually be influenced by Pissarro and Sisley. Compared to the majority of the landscape paintings in Clary-catalogue Baroux's raisonné, this piece is unique. It exhibits a composition that is reminiscent of Van Gogh's blooms and blatantly copies his expressive sweeping brushstrokes in the front tall grass. It implies that Clary-Baroux was influenced by Van Gogh before he became famous and may have even collaborated with him on a painting around this time. The item is autographed and framed and in fantastic condition. Dimensions: Approximately 75 x 65 cm when framed
