Description: 1 Decorative Impressionist Contemporary Oil Painting Sunny St Ives Harbour Cornwall By Andrew Stewart Weir. Subject beautiful contemporary impressionist view on a sunny day of St Ives Harbour. In the foreground you can see view from Belyars St Ives the rooftops & seaside homes, sandy beach and fishing boats docked in the harbour, with the Saint George flag on pole flying high. In the background with views of lush green grass fields coastal hills with lone buildings and the calm seas further back. This scene brings back such happy fond memories of holidays we had in that wonderful place as a child. You can feel the textures of the oil paint. Set in a modern heavy wood painted white frame. Weight around 5kg unwrapped. Monogram signed by the artist AS and circa dated 19 for 2019. Also dated verso written in pencil June 2019. Title "Sunny St Ives Harbour" Oil on board.
