Description: Beautiful, big oil on canvas study from the 18th century depicting a British naval ship going off the shore.Excellent example of an early British marine oiler, with elaborate sails, rigging, hull, and crew details. There is writing on the flag that might be the ship's name. In good condition and housed in a gold antiwar frame. Dimensions: 43" by 30" when framed.
