Description: Large oil on panel representation of the Tempi Madonna from the Italian High Renaissance period. Beautiful, early, and uncommon rendition of Raphael's Tempi Madonna that shows the Madonna and the child Christ cuddling. With some minor peripheral losses in the outer composition but no significant repair, it is in excellent shape for its age. It has a clean, sturdy surface and is housed in an old, carved devotional frame that may have been created as an altar piece. Dimensions: Approximately 38" x 28" framed
