Description: Fine large 1905 portrait of Fluffkins a terrier, oil on canvas, signed indistinctly. Good quality large study of the terrier resting at side profile. Superb detail by an accomplished dog painter from the period. Would have been commissioned by the owner to capture their beloved pet. Rare early depiction of the breed thought the exact breed type is unknown. Framed (with losses as seen). Condition: Original unrestored, would be significantly enhanced with a professional clean. Some minor surface losses from scuffing/ Measurements: 47" x 35" framed
