Description: Huge 16th Century Italian Old Master scene of The Crucifixion, oil on paper to canvas. Magnificent early panorama of the crucifixion busy with neatly detailed figures. Some varnish discoloration that will will enhance the pigments and detail after a professional clean. Similar version to Tintoretto's composition in the Scuola di San Rocco in Venice and possibly by the artists or his studio circa 1570. Presented in a thin gilt frame. Measurements: 48" x 22" framed approx
