Painting of the legendary Conquistador's death during the Conquest of Peru in excellent quality and condition, a rare specimen of the artist's work. The image depicts the killing of Pizarro in 1541 when supporters of Diego de Almagro II assaulted his palace. Beautifully painted, the scenario features distinct faces and expressions on each figure dressed in colorful Conquistador garb. framed and signed. Dimensions: approximately 112 x 75 cm when framed
