Description: Large oil on canvas interior painting of Marie De Medici's Felicity from the 19th century. The piece is based on a sequence of paintings Marie De Medici commissioned from Peter Paul Rubens depicting her victories and tribulations. Excellent quality and condition in its original antique frame with ebonized and gold details and an inscription plaque to Eugene Delacroix, whose fluid style was greatly affected by him and was frequently painted replicated in.
