Description: Huge oil on canvas work by a Spanish Old Master from the 18th century depicting Saint Andrew's Martyrdom. Magnificent, enormously scaled representation of Saint Andrew bound on an X-shaped cross, facing heaven and seeing angels bearing the crown of martyrdom. Although the painting's top corner of the stretcher has some damage that has rippled the canvas, it may be simply retightened with a stretcher repair. Unframed. Size: approximately 64" x 50" unframed
