Description: Set 3 Miniature Solid Bronze Horse Racing By Gill Parker "The Origins Of Champions" The Mint of Franklin. Located atop an oval wooden pedestal with name plates for each horse on the front bottom portion of the plinth. As they leave the plinth, the horses ascend. Each of the three horses has such a glitzy, incredibly beautiful, exquisite detail. Byerley Turk 1680 horses are being used. Godolphin Arabian (1724) and Darley Arabian (1700). The Godolphin Arabian and the Darley Arabian are the other two stallions that were the founders of the modern Thoroughbred horse racing bloodstock. The Byerley Turk (c. 1680–1706; often written Byerley Turk) was the first of these stallions. They were cast with the most exquisite, outstanding detail possible.
