Barbou, Paris, 1766381,(1); 423,(1) pages in 2 volumes.original calf, mottled and uniform, with a gilded spine Measures 4 by 6 3/4". Some binding damage. Excellent interior with a few light fades in the upper edge. Latin text Roman statesman, orator, lawyer, and philosopher Marcus Tullius Cicero (106–43 BC) held the office of consul in 63 BC. He was born into a prosperous Roman equestrian order municipal family and is regarded as one of the best orators and prose stylists in Rome history.
