The well-known British World War II warship HMS Hesperus is depicted in side profile facing left in rough seas in the subject seascape marine portrait. furiously spraying and crashing storm waters over the bow Guns pointed both front and back, and the number H57 is visible on the lower side. An excellent illustration of his work. "HMS Hesperus on Convoy Duty in the North Atlantic" is the title inscribed on the verso. on a canvas, oil. About the 1970s, late 20th century. signed by renowned British artist Dion Pears, who lived from 1929 to 1985.
