Description: 1 Fine Small British Marine Art Gouache Royal Navy WW1 Ship HMS Benbow Iron Duke Class Battleship. Subject marine side profile view of the ship Iron Duke Class battleship named HMS Benbow sailing on relatively calm seas, to the right you can see the Ensign flag, gun turrets & observation tower along with various sailor figures on deck, with beautiful blue sky overhead. Medium mixed media gouache, pastel on paper backed with board with a front protective glass cover. Signed in black in the bottom corner by the artist J. Ames. Circa mid 20th century dated 1945.
