Marginalities by period. Sebastiano Erizzo was an Italian humanist and numismatist who lived in Venice from June 19, 1525, to March 5, 1585. His book has 572 pages with a Table of Contents. A senator and member of the Council of Ten of Venice, he is well-known for his Six Days (1567), a compilation of six schoolchildren's short stories from 1542 told over the course of six days. He was the first Italian numismatics writer. He composed four philosophical letters and the short story The Six Days in the Style of Boccaccesco. They built the foundations of numismatics alongside Enea Vico. The short stories' near absolute lack of love themes is one of their defining characteristics.
