Description: The Tavern Banquet, 17th Century attributed to David II TENIERS (1610-1690) - Huge Village Scene. Fine large 17th century Dutch Old Master tavern banquet scene, oil on canvas. Huge scale village street scene of men and women gathered at a banquet in the village outside a tavern. Magnificent condition and detail with various figures drunk, sleeping, eating and flirting around the table. Typical of Teniers best work during the period. Unsigned as with most of Teniers works however the technical analysis of the painting indicates the work to be by his hand or circle. Presented in a good antique gilt frame. Measurements: 35" x 32" framed
