Fine large 19th century British Royal Navy experimental squadron off Spithead, oil on canvas by Thomas Buttersworth. Excellent condition and quality example of the famous maritime painter work capturing HMS Trafalgar departing Spithead and passing the Royal Yacht "Victoria & Albert". Superb account in original condition and presented in its original antique gilt frame. Provenance: William Rivett, Gainsborough Gallery, London - Royal Southampton Yacht Club.
