A tall, magnificent marble base supports a very intricate, coveted decorative cast bronze statue of Napoleon dressed in full military uniform. His renowned hat is on, and he has an open collar. He has his wartime decorations attached to his vest, including an eagle with wide wings that soars above a bayonet at the base. French made. signed on the verso O Ruppony by the artist. It weighs about 9.5 kg unpacked, which is substantial. About the 19th century. Provenance purchased from a Yorkshire antiques shop.
