Description: A fine English little gilt convex eagle crown wall mirror. in the lovely, elegant Regency style. The eagle pediment decoration, which is rather exquisite, on top of the mirror is one aspect that stands out. has a base covered in an acanthus-swirling garland. 43 cm high is a great, small size. A convex mirror has curved glass in which the reflected surface bulges in the direction of the light source. Beautiful gilded lacquer frame finish surrounds the piece. Just look at how exquisitely complex and decorative the frame is. Made by hand in England.
