Magnificent, expansive winter landscape with figures skating on frozen water, of exceptional quality and condition. The manner and detail, however unsigned, are distinctly De Loutherbourg; a composition strikingly identical to this one is presently housed in the UK Government Art Collection (Whitehall & Downing Street). shown in a gilded frame Size: approximately 141 cm by 110 cm when framed.
