Italian writer and statesman Galeazzo Flavio Capella, also called Galeazzo Capra (the Latin name Capella means "little goat"), was born in Milan on March 7, 1487, and died there on February 23, 1537. Milanese historian Galeazzo Capella (1487–1537), also known by his pen name Capra, served as Jerome Morone's secretary before becoming Duke Francisco Sforza II's secretary, who ordered the current work. He is recognized for this book as well as a history of Milan (1520–31) and a biography of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. EDIT 16 CNCE 9090. Aurel Index: 131.491. Not in Adams.
