Description: One traditional oil painting of a British seascape, depicting a Schooner Sailing Ship Kathleen and May. This exquisite nautical artwork would look great in your house or place of business. Oil on canvas enclosed in a tasteful, ornate gold frame. The frame is 89 cm in width and 63.5 cm in height, which is an excellent proportion. The verso of John L. Chapman's "Kathleen & May Schooner" title. The 1970s, or the late 20th century. Original artist sketch drawing proof on the verso label, provenance signed, and related marine ephemera about the ship, including the story of Kathleen and May, colorplan series by C.V. Waine, the ship's story featured on page 19 of Ships Monthly magazine's February 1979 issue, the Maritime Trust, and currently in the collection of Cheshire Antiques Consultant.
