Description: Edward Lloyd of Ellesmere's Horses Heading To Market "On The Road" Traveling To Chester, a fine art antique 19th century Victorian English oil painting. Topic genre scene of a horse merchant trader riding his brown horse and leading two more lighter brown horses slightly behind him and further back with a lovely white horse trailing behind. He is wearing a thick nice country coat and traveling on an ancient dirt path route. He is nearing a crossroad on the hillside path through Beeston Peckforton Hills in Cheshire, and a sign right by him indicates that Chester is on the right. He can make out several horses and a rider traveling to Chester in the distance. Landscape views of hills covered in green grass can be seen to the left, while some gorgeous flowers can be seen growing along the roadside to the right.
