Description: Huge oil on canvas picture of Thomas Paget, the Marquess of Anglesey and the Governor of Minorca, from the 18th century. A distinguished military officer working under the Duke of Marlborough and serving the 7th Dragoons Guards as well as the 22nd Regiment of The Foot, the youthful Marquess and Governor is seen in this excellent quality and condition painting wearing red robes and a huge wig. He was also an Ilchester MP during that time. Although we have reframed it, the portrait is still exactly how we discovered it. Dimensions: approximately 34" x 29" framed
