Description: Outstanding Impressionist view of Venice, looking towards St Mark's Basilica. In this wonderful oil on board by Allegretti, who is a follower of the Posillipo School. He expresses his passion for the classical Neapolitan artistic tradition and the artist has achieved a high level of skill in his use of light, color, and texture, which allows him to obtain a perfect naturalistic rendering. Everything is depicted with great attention to detail. Overall, the light spreads with warm glows on the surface of the water. the piece is an oil on a wooden panel and is framed in the original Italian frame.
